Glitz and Kitsch

Black Creek Arts Gallery presents Glitz and Kitsch, an exhibition opening October 6, 2022 and running through November 11, 2022. The exhibit features all forms of 2-D and 3-D art from area artists, invoking feelings of modern-day European joie de vivre. The gallery will display work ranging from the odd to the flamboyant, showcasing contemporary interpretations of Belle Epoque aesthetics.

All forms of 2-D and 3-D art and craft are considered for submission. 2-D art (paintings, mixed media, prints, photography) must be framed and wired for hanging with no sawtooth or clips, not exceeding 36" x 36" including frame. 3-D art must be fully assembled and not exceed 18" H x 14" W x 7" D with base. Photography prints must be framed with a minimum print size of at least one dimension greater than 10", not exceeding 36" x 36" including frame. Unframed works will not be accepted.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. All work must be original and created by the person submitting it. Submissions should include 1-3 images of work samples. The entry deadline is September 16, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Contact [email protected] for questions.
