About This Call
The 72nd Annual Glenview Art League Summer Art Fair takes place Saturday and Sunday, July 18-19, 2026, from 11am to 5pm at Lyon School, 1335 Waukegan Road, Glenview, Illinois. This volunteer-run event is the second longest running art fair in Illinois, dating back to the 1950s. The fair features fine artwork and craft on a tree-filled grass lawn with live music, food, and kids activities. Free parking is available on site, with overnight parking available. The surrounding area has a median income twice above the national average.
Accepted media include paintings and drawings, sculpture, prints, mixed media, wood, fiber, ceramics, photography, and jewelry. All work must be original; no mass-produced or machine-made work is permitted. Each booth space is approximately 12' by 12'. Artist amenities include Friday check-in and setup, overnight security, coffee and light snacks, booth sitters, and promotion through social and traditional media. Students are available for hire to assist with setup and takedown.
Application deadline is April 3, 2026. The non-refundable jury fee is $20. Booth fees are $250 for non-members and $190 for Glenview Art League members (on record as of January 1, 2026). Booth fees must be paid by May 5, 2026, with a refund cutoff date of June 3, 2026. First-time applicants, previous exhibitors showing a different medium, and all ceramics, sculpture, and 3D artists must be juried. Returning artists in jewelry and fiber categories must re-jury in 2026. Judging begins at 11am on Saturday, July 18, with ribbons awarded after judging. Cash awards including Best of Show and Awards of Excellence and Merit will be presented at the end of the fair on Sunday, July 19; recipients must be present to receive awards. Artists must be present and exhibit for the duration of both days. Registered and marked service pets are allowed; other animals and pets are prohibited. Contact: [email protected]
