About This Call
For the 56th year, the Festival of the Arts will be returning to picturesque Lake Ellyn on August 23 and 24, 2025. Show hours are 10am-5pm both Saturday and Sunday. This fine arts show serves as a destination event, bringing more than 3,000 visitors from the Chicagoland area to Lake Ellyn Park. The Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn presents this juried art show featuring all media in the beautiful park surrounding Lake Ellyn.
Participation is open to all fine art mediums including ceramics, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, painting, sculpture, wood, mixed media, photography, and printmaking. All work must be of original concept, executed and designed by the artist in attendance. The festival is capped at 70 artists selected through a jury process requiring five images: four of artwork and one booth shot. Artists are responsible for their own tents, display tables, chairs and related materials.
The booth fee is $225 due by July 18, 2025, with double booth spaces available for $450. Artist amenities include commission-free sales, Friday set-up, artist break room with AC, bottled water, morning coffee and pastries, booth sitters, overnight security, and extensive marketing campaigns. Awards total $1,600 in cash prizes including a $600 Best of Show award, plus four Judges Awards recipients receive complimentary booth space in next year's show. Artists must be onsite during both days of the festival and collect 8.25% local sales tax.
