Glass Exhibition

The Downtown Gallery, located in downtown Kokomo, invites submissions for a juried glass exhibition. This exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18 who reside in the United States. Any form of glass making is accepted; mixed-media works must be made up of no less than 60% glass. All work must be original and completed in the last two years, and must be accurately represented in high-resolution (300dpi) jpeg images not exceeding 5MB. For 3D works, a second detail photo may be uploaded.

Eligibility requirements include professional presentation of each piece. 2D artwork must be framed with a secure way to hang if necessary. Sculptures should be fully assembled, structurally sound, and include detailed installation instructions if needed. An entry fee of $25 per artist will be invoiced once entry is received, regardless of acceptance. Entries are made through the CaFE website. Important dates: entries due 12/31/2020; artist notifications on or before 1/8/2021; artwork delivery 1/28/2021-1/30/2021 during gallery hours; exhibition dates 2/17/2021-3/5/2021; artwork pick-up 3/11/2021-3/13/2021 during gallery hours. Delivery and pick-up of artwork is the artist's responsibility. Sales are encouraged with the gallery receiving a 30% commission on sold work. Any work not picked up 30 days after the exhibition ends becomes the property of the gallery.
