About This Call
Glass artists are invited to enter the GLASS Arts Festival, an exclusively glass festival held on the grounds of Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass in Neenah, WI. The festival features a Friday night VIP collectors' shopping experience (August 7, 5:30-7:00pm) and a public festival on Saturday, August 8 (10am-5pm). In addition to glass art, visitors will enjoy live music, artisan food and beverages, children's art activities, and glass blowing demonstrations.
Accepted artists receive a 10' x 10' booth space under a festival tent with electrical available. Booth fees are $300 for one booth or $500 for two adjacent booths. Artist amenities include appetizers and beverages Friday evening, continental breakfast Saturday morning, complimentary box lunch, and complimentary booth-sitting service (subject to availability). The festival features up to 50 artists. Artists must supply their own tables, chairs, display units, and accent lights (LED required).
Artists compete across medium categories including beads/jewelry, blown, cast, fused, kiln-formed, lampworking/flameworking, mixed media (with primary medium glass), mosaic, stained glass, sculpture, and paperweights. All objects displayed must be for sale to the public. Awards include 1st Place ($2,000 and solo exhibition at the museum in 2027 with free booth fee), 2nd Place ($1,000 and free booth fee in 2027), and 3rd Place ($500 and free booth fee in 2027). Application deadline is May 1, 2026. Jury fee is $45 for non-members; museum members receive a free jury fee with coupon. All work must be original and created by the applicant; no commercial kits, molds, patterns, or mass production permitted. Artists must be present to exhibit and manage their displays. Wisconsin seller's permit and sales tax collection (5.0%) are required.
