About This Call

Gallerium presents Girlish 2025, the second edition of an annual exhibition, publication, and sales opportunity dedicated to capturing the essence, struggles, and triumphs of girls and women. Artists worldwide are invited to illuminate the unique experiences and emotions that shape the feminine journey through their creative lens. The opportunity encourages exploration of themes including girlhood and womanhood, heritage and identity, emotions and resilience, social expectations and cultural impact, freedom and gender equality, women in developing countries, violence against girls and women, the post-pandemic era, empowerment and leadership, motherhood and family dynamics, famous women in art and history, and girls and women in technology. All 2D and 3D artistic interpretations are welcome, whether abstract or representational.

Selected artworks will be featured in the Girlish International Exhibition and showcased on Artsy.net, the world's largest community of art collectors. A curated list of jury-selected artworks will be published in The Book of Arts, available in digital and premium print editions. The exhibition runs from March 29 to May 29, 2025. Submission is free; selected artists will be required to pay a USD 40 selection fee (USD 34 with early bird discount). Up to 6 artworks can be submitted, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist.

Selected artists receive multiple benefits including publication in The Book of Arts, artwork promotion and sales through the online showcase and Artsy.net, a permanent online presence with artist profiles, exhibition catalogue featuring all artists, downloadable exhibition posters, promotional badges for each artwork, visitor feedback and ratings, detailed performance reports with analytics, a complimentary professional artist profile on Biafarin platform, and a digital certificate of participation. Up to 10 outstanding artists will receive an Honorable Mention Artist Award digital certificate. A money-back guarantee is available for selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day.
