Gimme Shelter

National Juried Exhibition, January 6-26, 2017. This exhibition invites artists to explore the theme of animals and our relationship with them. The exhibition features work in any medium, both 2-D and 3-D, with no size restrictions. All US artists are welcome to apply. The exhibition will include a community component with The Humane Society, with donations to their Wish List accepted at the gallery.

Entry fee is $35.00 for 2 pieces, with an additional $10.00 media fee for each additional piece up to 5 total. Submit 2-5 JPEG images (minimum 1920 pixels on longest side, maximum 5MB). All exhibited work must be for sale; a 40% commission will be taken on works sold during the exhibition or within 30 days as a direct result. Unsold works will be returned via artist-supplied pre-paid label two to four weeks after the exhibition closes. Artists are responsible for shipping or delivering accepted artwork by December 30 (shipped) or January 2 (hand-delivered). Artwork must be picked up by appointment on Friday, January 27 or Saturday, January 28.

Judge: Fabric Lenny (Manchester, England). Prize: Best of Show $500 and Honorable Mentions. Acceptance notifications will be sent by email on December 14. All work must be original, clean, securely wired, and ready to hang. No prints (except photography), giclées, or prints on aluminum accepted. Submitted images must reflect the actual work as closely as possible. All entries must be submitted online at www.callforentry.org by 11:59 PM MST on Sunday, December 11, 2016.
