Gilpin Arts 79th Annual Juried Show

The Gilpin County Arts Association presents the 79th Annual Juried Show for summer 2026. This prestigious juried exhibition offers artists across the United States the opportunity to showcase their work and compete for $3,500 in total cash prizes. The show runs from June 6 to August 22, 2026, with viewings from 11 am to 6 pm Wednesdays through Sundays.

Artists must register online via Café between January 20 and April 17, 2026. Accepted artworks must be delivered to the Gilpin County Arts Association at 117 Eureka Street during receiving days (Thursdays through Sundays, May 1-22, 2026, 12 pm to 4 pm). The firm delivery deadline is Saturday, May 22. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by email by April 30, 2026. The opening night preview and reception will be held Saturday, June 6 from 5 pm to 8 pm, where award winners will be announced. Unsold works may be picked up August 22-23 from 11 am to 4 pm.

Eligibility requires artists to be U.S. residents, at least 18 years old, with original works created within the last three years that have not been previously exhibited at Gilpin Arts Galleries. All submitted artwork must be available for sale. Entry fee is $55 for non-members and $45 for Gilpin Arts Association members. Artists may submit up to three images per submission; additional submissions require separate applications. Work categories include 2D (mixed media, paintings, drawings), 3D (sculpture, jewelry, pottery, ceramics), and Photography.
