GeoLogic: Atlantic Gallery Juried Ceramic Exhibition 2022

GeoLogic is a juried ceramic group show at Atlantic Gallery in New York's Chelsea district. The exhibition theme invites ceramic artists, potters, and sculptors to explore aesthetic, narrative, political, structural, or personal points of view related to geology, geometry, geography, geohumanism, geomorphology, and earth-related concepts. Visual artists working in functional or sculptural modes are invited to submit, as are artists creating wall-based work such as tilework, mosaics, and installations. Multimedia works that are at least 80% ceramic are welcomed. Works must be primarily ceramic, with additional media permitted up to 20% of each work.

The juror, Bruce Dehnert, will award two artists a grand prize of a week-long show at Atlantic Gallery. A printed full-color catalog will be provided to each accepted artist. The exhibition runs June 21 – July 9, 2022, with an opening reception on June 23, 2022. Submission deadline is April 20, 2022. Entry fee is $35 for 3 works, with $5 for each additional work up to 5 works total.

Eligibility: Open to all US artists 18 years or older. Hanging work may not exceed 48 inches in width and height. Standing sculptures must not exceed 48 inches in any dimension and must be firmly stable. All pedestal work must fit on a 19" square pedestal or artists must provide their own stand. Applicants must submit 3-5 images (JPEG, 1200-1800 pixels minimum on smallest side, 5 MB max). All works must be for sale. Atlantic Gallery takes a 30% commission on sold work. Works must be delivered June 8-17, 2022, and picked up July 9 (5pm-7pm) or July 12 (12pm-6pm).
