General Fiction Fall 2026

Please submit up to 2000 words of fiction, either one piece or multiple flash pieces, in a double-spaced Word doc. In your cover letter, please include a brief third-person bio, including your social media handles and/or website. All written submissions must be in a Word doc, double spaced, with 12-point Times New Roman font. We do not accept previously published work. No submissions created with AI (either partially or totally) will be permitted. We want human voices. We accept simultaneous submissions, but please withdraw your piece immediately if it is accepted elsewhere. Writers/artists may send only one submission per genre per reading period. Since we are on a university schedule, we try to respond to all submissions within three months.
