Gay Pride Exhibition: Be Proud, Be Loud!

In honor of June being "Pride Month," KBM Art Gallery invites artists to submit artwork reflecting pride in the LGBTQ+ community. Work from LGBTQ+ identifying artists and allies throughout the world is welcome. Subject matter and medium can be anything that reflects pride in the LGBTQ+ community, though the gallery cannot display erotic artworks or artworks with nudity. The gallery is looking for artworks to virtually simulate a Pride Parade. Colorful works, those featuring the pride flag, and pieces that are bold in choices, textures, expressions, and intentions will be particularly considered. Abstract and literal representations are both encouraged.

KBM Art Gallery is an online-only gallery with a social media audience of over 26,000 followers. "Be Proud, Be Loud!" will be displayed on the gallery's website from Saturday, June 3rd through Friday, June 30th. The gallery promotes exhibits daily on Instagram and Twitter, and every accepted artist will receive their own social media post promoting their individual work(s). These posts remain online even after exhibitions close. The gallery promotes artwork at the price set by the artist, who retains 100% of profits from sales and works directly with buyers regarding framing and shipping.

Submit 1 to 6 JPEG images of up to 6 different artworks in any medium, including 3D works. For 3D works, use an all-white background with proper lighting and crop the photo so the artwork is centered. For 2D works, ensure clear, well-lit images without shadows or dark edges, cropped to show only the artwork. Artworks created in any year are accepted. There is no size limit. Artworks do not have to be for sale. Artists must be 18 years or older, submit original work, and cannot submit artwork containing nudity, erotic content, or harassing or offensive themes. Entry fee is $30.00 plus $3.00 media fee.
