Gathered VII: Georgia Artists Selecting Georgia Artists

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) is calling all Georgia artists for Gathered VII: Georgia Artists Selecting Georgia Artists, the 7th installment of this biennial exhibition. This will be the first Gathered exhibition held in MOCA GA's new building designed by Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects.

Esteemed jurors and Georgia artists Hannah Israel, Craig Drennen, and Kelly Taylor Mitchell are committed to offering both the breadth and depth of talent across the state of Georgia. The exhibition has evolved over the last twenty years from its original incarnation, Within State Lines (2006, 2009), to Georgia Artists Selecting Georgia Artists (2013, 2015), and finally to Gathered: Georgia Artists Selecting Georgia Artists. The MOCA GA mission is fully realized within this project as artists are involved in all phases of the exhibition, including selection and review.
