Gateway Sculpture in Caporella Park, Tamarac, FL

The City of Tamarac, Florida (City) is seeking to commission an Artist or Artist team to create a sculpture for the entrance to the City’s Caporella Park’s parking lot entrance located at 5200 Prospect Road, Tamarac, Florida. The sculpture should be vibrant, colorful and impactful to pedestrians and passerby traffic both day and night. The City would prefer sculptures that have the following elements: Uniqueness, Vibrant colors that represent the City of Tamarac and help distinguish it from other cities, Communicates the city’s core identity as 'The City For Your Life' and the unifying vision of 'One Tamarac,' Symbols that communicate Tamarac’s welcoming, friendly and diverse community, Tamarac is a thriving, diverse, progressive and forward-thinking City.
