"Game Over" A Video Game Art Show

Memento Mori Gallery & Tattoo invites submissions of 2D and 3D video game-themed artwork for "Game Over" A Video Game Art Show. The gallery welcomes art inspired by or made from video games, and particularly invites outsider, lowbrow, and macabre work.

The exhibition runs April 4-25, 2025, at Memento Mori Gallery & Tattoo (6451 W. Colfax Ave, Suite B, Lakewood, Colorado 80214), located in the 40West Arts District. The First Friday opening reception on April 4, 2025 from 6-9pm will celebrate the gallery's 2-year anniversary and include live music, food, and flash tattoo specials.

Entry deadline is March 14, 2025. Entry fee is $25 per piece; artists may submit up to 2 pieces. Artwork must be ready to hang or display physically with hanging hardware already attached (no plain canvas without hanging wire, no adhesive mounts). Digital artwork will not be displayed unless printed and framed/mounted properly. Photographic work depicting another artist's artwork will not be accepted without express permission from the original artist. All artwork must be for sale, with 40% of sales going to the gallery. Drop-off date is March 29, 2025; pick-up date is April 26, 2025. Out-of-state artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from the gallery.
