Gallery of Hermosa: "I Love L.A: A Celebration of All Things Los Angeles!"

Gallery of Hermosa invites artists with a connection to the Los Angeles area to participate in "I Love L.A.," an open juried exhibition celebrating the essence of Los Angeles. The gallery seeks original 2D artwork that captures iconic landmarks, vibrant culture, diverse communities, or breathtaking beaches and landscapes. Exhibition dates are July 5-28, 2024, with a gallery party and opening reception on July 5, 2024 from 5-8pm.

Submission guidelines require original 2D artwork only (paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media, and photography). Artwork must be ready for display (framed or gallery wrapped with wire for hanging) and available for sale. Artists may submit up to three artworks. Each submission requires an artist statement or bio and a brief description (up to 300 characters) for each artwork. Entry fee is $25 for the first image and $5 for each additional image. A panel of jurors will curate the final art pieces for the exhibit. Accepted artwork will be offered for sale at the gallery and online on the gallery website. Artwork will also be featured on Artsy. If selected, artists will receive details via email regarding delivery of their work to the gallery.
