Gallery 130 National Juried Exhibition

Gallery 130, located at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, will host a juried exhibition from April 8-25, 2024. The exhibition will be juried by Coulter Fussell, an artist who resides in Water Valley, Mississippi. Following the submission deadline, the juror will select work centered around an exhibition theme of their choice.

Artists may submit up to three entries per entry fee ($30 per entry). Works of any medium are considered, including ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, painting, video, sound, photography, and performance. All artwork must have been completed within the last 5 years. Video artists may submit links to streaming video pages (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.). Artists must be over 18 years old; current faculty and students at the University of Mississippi are not eligible. All work must be professionally presented: 2-D work should be framed with plexi-glass and hanging wire (no sawtooth hangers or glass); paintings may be gallery wrapped with 1.5 inch edges without additional framing. There is no size limitation.

Artists will be notified of acceptance by the beginning of March. Awards will be given for Best in Show ($250), Second Place ($100), Third Place ($50), and several Honorable Mentions. Artists are responsible for shipping artwork to and from Gallery 130 and must provide return shipping labels or email labels. Gallery 130 is not responsible for damage to works during shipping or exhibition; insurance is the responsibility of exhibiting artists. Gallery 130 reserves the right to photograph and publish accepted work for promotional purposes and to collect a 30% commission on sales of work.
