Gallery 110: 4th Annual Juried Exhibition

Gallery 110's fourth annual juried exhibition will showcase work by emerging and established artists. The exhibition runs February 6 through March 1, 2014. The gallery's location in Seattle's Pioneer Square gallery district offers artists exposure to professional reviews and access to the First Thursday Art Walk.

Juror Catharina Manchanda, Jon and Mary Shirley Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Seattle Art Museum, will select finalists and award prizes: first place $500, second place $300, and third place $200. This international juried show is open to artists over 18 years of age. Artwork may be in any two or three dimensional media and must be original works by the submitting artist. Works requiring electrical outlets (video, neon, sound) are not eligible. Two-dimensional artwork must be mounted with hanging wire and ready for display. Works on paper must be framed and protected under glass or Plexiglas. Maximum finished size is 48 inches in either dimension, and artwork cannot weigh more than 35 pounds. All entries must be for sale, and Gallery 110 retains a 50% commission on sales.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with an additional $10 per image up to 100 total images. Payment must be in US dollars and is non-refundable. Deadline for entries is October 23, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Finalists will be notified by email in early December 2013. Selected artists are responsible for framing and delivery of work to Gallery 110 by January 30, 2014. An artist reception and awards ceremony will be held February 8, 5-8pm.
