Gallerium Annual Art Prize 2023

Gallerium invites visual artists worldwide to submit original artworks for the Gallerium Annual Art Prize 2023. Selected artworks will be showcased in an international online group exhibition from June 15 to August 15, 2023. Artists can submit up to 5 artworks in any 2D or 3D medium, including painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, photography, digital arts, fiber art, textile art, sculpture, mixed media, and more. All styles and subject interpretations are welcome. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no creation year limit. Maximum 2 artworks will be selected per artist.

Submission is free. Selected artists pay a USD 50 selection fee. Cash awards total CAD 2,000 distributed as follows: CAD 1,000 for 3 artists with the highest artwork rankings during the exhibition; CAD 500 (First Prize), CAD 300 (Second Prize), and CAD 200 (Third Prize); and CAD 1,000 shared among 10 Editors' Pick artists at CAD 100 each. Additionally, 10 artists will receive Honorable Mention digital certificates.

All selected artworks will be published in an exhibition catalogue available in online and print versions, promoted internationally to art experts, galleries, curators, and collectors. Selected artists receive social media promotional badges, digital certificates, artist profile pages on the Biafarin platform, and detailed reports with artwork analytics including views, comments, engagement rates, and sales statistics. An exhibition press release will be published in art media. Artworks must be entirely original work of the entrant with no infringement of copyrights. Artists must have all rights for international presentation and publishing. Artwork submissions must show only the artwork with no frames or extraneous backgrounds.
