About This Call
FUTURE OF WESTERN is an exhibition opportunity open to artists nationally. The call seeks to present a perspective distinct from dominant contemporary Western art exhibition models. According to the organizers, FUTURE OF WESTERN is modeled on differentiating Western culture from multiculturalism and non-Western globalization, offering opportunity to reevaluate cultural identity, contemplate cultural appropriation, and search for authenticity in contemporary Western art.
