FURRY Friends

The Red Bluff Art Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit work for a virtual exhibition celebrating furry friends in art. The theme encompasses all aspects of how animals connect and impact our lives—favorite portraits of dogs, horses, martins, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, cats, and other creatures. Artists may work in any fine art medium including painting, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, digital, fiber, sculpture, and photography.

Entry fees are $30 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 entries. All entry fees support administration costs, prize funding, the 3D Virtual Art Exhibit, and the Accidental Animal Rescue Center. Selected artwork will be featured in a 3D Virtual Gallery Show, promoted through the gallery's website, social media, and collector contacts. Artists retain 100% of proceeds if they choose to sell their work. Awards include First Place ($200), Second Place ($150), Third Place ($100), and Honorable Mentions ($50). Some artists may be invited to have a solo show in the virtual gallery. Selected works will be displayed online for a minimum of one year. Notification of selections begins April 8, 2023, approximately 3-4 weeks after the entry deadline. All professional and amateur artists worldwide are eligible to enter.
