FURRY & Feathered Friends 2024

FURRY & Feathered Friends is a juried international call for art about animals in our lives. The Red Bluff Art Gallery invites artists of all mediums, ages, backgrounds, and locations to submit work exploring how furry and feathered friends connect and impact our lives. All fine art mediums are acceptable, including painting, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, textiles, and digital art. Artists may submit 1-20 images. Entry is open to all professional and amateur artists worldwide.

Selected artwork will be displayed online in a 3D Virtual Gallery Exhibition on the gallery's website, social media, and collaborating artist shares for a minimum of one year. Artists retain 100% of proceeds if they choose to sell their work directly to collectors. Cash prizes include: Grand Prize (solo virtual 3D exhibition), First Place $200, Second Place $150, Third Place $100, and multiple Honorable Mentions at $50 each. Prizes are paid via PayPal unless otherwise arranged.

Entry fees are $28 for the first entry and $14 for each additional entry (maximum 20 entries). Entry fees are non-refundable and do not guarantee acceptance. A portion of all entry fees benefits the Accidental Animal Rescue Center. The entry period runs through July 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jury selection occurs August 1-September 1, 2024, with the exhibition opening September 6, 2024 and running through at least September 1, 2025. Notifications of selections will be sent by email.
