Funky Ferndale Art Fair 2026

The Funky Ferndale Art Fair takes place in fashionable Ferndale's downtown, a thriving business community with distinctive boutiques and bistros that attracts young upwardly mobile professionals. This high quality juried fine art show is designed to showcase artists with work that appeals to this demographic - art that shows creativity, challenges the mind, or sparks the imagination. The show features artwork that invites a reaction rather than sitting quietly, while maintaining high artistic standards.

The fair averages 35,000 shoppers over the weekend. Show hours are Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 10am-9pm, and Sunday 11am-6pm. Move-in is Friday morning from 7am-3pm, with those having trailers or oversized vehicles required to be in by 11am. Booths are 10 feet wide by 10 feet deep, with most spaces having storage area behind the booth. RV parking is available a few blocks away with advance notification, though without electric or water connections.

The application is free and requires 4 images plus a booth shot. Emerging artists are accepted. Artists must have liability insurance with minimum $1 million coverage listing the City of Ferndale and Integrity Shows as certificate holders. All work must be original and created by the artist, with specific guidelines for prints, reproductions, and medium-specific restrictions. Artists must be present during all show hours and are responsible for collecting Michigan sales tax.
