Fun Sized Art

"Fun Sized Art" is a juried group art exhibition at the Vanessa Lacy Gallery running from October 18-November 8, 2019. The opening reception will coincide with the Livestock Exchange Buildings annual Fall Open Studios event. The theme is affordable art under 14 inches in all dimensions. The gallery seeks art in all mediums, 2-D and 3-D, traditional and non-traditional. Work will be selected by a jury including owner Vanessa Lacy and several local artists based on adherence to the theme, exhibition readiness, and contribution to a cohesive exhibition.

All artwork must be original, exhibition ready, and available for sale. No reproductions will be accepted, except photography. Drop-off dates are Saturday, October 12th, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. or Tuesday, October 15th, 1-5 p.m. Pick-up dates are Saturday, November 9th, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. or Tuesday, November 12th, 1-5 p.m. For shipped work, artwork must arrive by October 12th and include a paid return shipping label. Artists must include a tracking number and purchase shipping insurance. The gallery is not responsible for damage or theft during shipping. 2-D artwork must have a wire on the back and lay flush on the wall. The gallery will provide pedestals or shelving for 3-D work.

Entry deadline is October 6, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $10. Submit 1-5 images and up to 3 audio files. Artists will be notified of acceptance between October 7-8.
