Full Bloom

The importance of flowers in visual culture represents an enduring, worldwide tradition. Stretching from the delicate ink-wash plum blossoms of the East to the lush, brooding Vanitas still lives of the Dutch Golden Age, across every culture flowers have acted as a silent, universal language. Whether they represent the fragility of life, the fire of passion, or the quietude of grief, the significance of the botanical form in art is undeniable. Flowers are more than mere subjects; they are vessels for our emotions. To celebrate the arrival of Spring, we are proud to present Full Bloom, our April online group exhibition. We invite artists to submit artworks that explore the diverse representations of flowers. From traditional botanical precision to contemporary abstract interpretations, Full Bloom seeks to showcase how today’s artists continue to find fresh meaning in the simple beauty of the bloom.
