From Where I Stand - uBe Art Exhibition

uBe Art in Berkeley, CA invites artists of all mediums to submit work representing their unique point of view. The gallery welcomes artists worldwide and is interested in learning what artists in all regions are creating and sharing their perspective with the Bay Area.

Accepted mediums include painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, and digital art. All artwork must be ready to hang; loose prints must be in plastic sleeves. Artwork must not exceed 50" on any side. The $25 entry fee includes submission of 1-6 images. Selected finalists will be invited to display work in a month-long exhibition at uBe Art, a light-filled gallery space with 25 ft ceilings located 12 miles east of San Francisco. Top selling artists will have the opportunity to remain on exhibition through the holiday season. The jury panel of working artists, gallery curators, advertising agents, and editors will select pieces based on technical application, originality, and concept.

Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks. All shipments must include a prepaid UPS or FedEx return label in a container appropriate for re-use. International artists are responsible for all international fees. Artists may deliver and pick up work in person if applicable. uBe Art retains 40% commission on all sales. All accepted artwork must be listed for sale. Exhibition dates: November 4 - December 6, 2015. Opening reception: November 6, 2015 at 6pm-10pm. Notification of selected artists will be sent via email on October 19, 2015. Deadline for receiving all artwork is October 31, 2015.
