About This Call
"From the Heart Juried Photography Exhibition" is the 13th annual photography exhibition presented by the Treasure Coast Photography Center, Inc., hosted by the City of Port St. Lucie Mid Florida Credit Union Event Center. This exhibition is conducted in support of The Peacock House Art Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022 serving Fort Pierce and surrounding areas. The foundation's mission is to foster the growth of the local art community by supporting the Peacock Arts District through public art exposure, art education, and artist resources.
All amateur and professional photographers may enter up to seven photographs per category. Entry fees are $20 per photograph for Treasure Coast Photography Center members in good standing and $25 for non-members. Four competition categories are offered: Animals (with animal as primary subject), Flora/Landscape (outdoor scenic beauty), People (with person(s) as primary subject), and Open (unrestricted creative license including composites, stitched panoramas, architectural, cityscapes, and still life). All entries must be 100% photographic in origin and the entrant's original work. Post-production editing to enhance natural appearance is permitted (levels, contrast, brightness, curves, tone, dodge and burn, saturation, color balance, etc.), as are filters and tools for texture, sharpening, softening, and noise removal. AI functions like denoising, healing, and sharpening are permitted, but AI cannot be used to add elements not captured by the photographer. Non-photographic graphic elements are only allowed in the Open category. All photographs must be for sale and cannot include the photographer's name or watermark on submitted images.
Online digital submissions are accepted January 5 - February 24, 2026. Notifications of acceptance or non-acceptance will be sent March 6, 2026.
