From the Heart

The Epperson Gallery announces a call for entries for the art exhibition "From the Heart," juried by gallery owner Gerald Epperson, a supporter of the art community for over three decades. The exhibition runs from January 17 through February 15, 2026, serving as a platform for artists to explore themes of love, passion, friendship, commitment, and experiences that ignite joy. The opening reception is January 17, 3:00-6:00 PM.

Awards include First Prize: $4,000 Purchase Award, Second Prize: $1,000, and Third Prize: $500. Entry fee is $45 with a $10 media fee. Artists must submit 1-3 images of original artwork completed within the last two years. Accepted mediums include painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, and fiber art. All work must be for sale, and artists receive 50% commission on gallery sales.

Eligibility is open to artists 18 and over residing in the USA. Two-dimensional art must be framed or gallery-wrapped, wired with D rings, and no taller than 5 feet. Size limitations are 60" tall by 48" wide for 2D work, with nothing over 60 lbs accepted. Prints must be hand-pulled by the artist, numbered, dated, and signed. Digital art and giclées are not accepted. Notification is December 11, 2025, with artwork delivery by January 9, 2026.
