Fresh Start

The Las Vegas Artists' Guild (LVAG) invites artists of all experience levels working in all artistic mediums to participate in "Fresh Start," an online art gallery show running March 4 – April 24, 2026. This exhibition is designed to encourage creativity, reflection, and community by highlighting the diverse talents within the membership and welcoming new artists to join.

Artists are encouraged to submit work from their existing body of work—pieces that feel meaningful, representative, or simply right to share as we begin a new year together. While the show does not follow a strict theme, artists must include a short description explaining why they chose the piece(s) and what inspired them to submit it for this first show of the year. The show features two categories: 2D Artwork (painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, and digital artwork) and 3D Artwork (sculpture, pottery, porcelain, glassware, jewelry, and fabric art).

Entry is open to LVAG members in good standing. New members are welcome and can complete a membership application on the LVAG website before the entry deadline. LVAG members pay $45 for 3 entries, with up to 2 additional entries available for $10 each (maximum 5 entries). Artwork must be original work by the artist and cannot include pieces that won monetary prizes in previous LVAG online shows. Artwork done in art classes or workshops, copy giclee prints, nude or adult-themed work, and uncompleted pieces are not permitted. The show offers $700 in cash prizes: Best in Show ($300), 2D 1st Place ($150), 2D 2nd Place ($100), 3D 1st Place ($150), 3D 2nd Place ($100), and 3 Honorable Mentions in each category. Judge Jason Roberts brings over 20 years of experience in fine art sales. Artists may price their work for sale or mark it as not for sale. All sales inquiries will be submitted through the Artist Spotlight page on the LVAG website, and artists are responsible for all aspects of the sale. LVAG will not collect commission fees.
