FRESH ART 2023

FRESH ART 2023 is an online exhibition open to all artists over the age of 18. The theme invites artwork that is forward or bold, expressive, engaging, stimulating, creative and infused with imagination. Sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, all types of fine art crafts and fabric art are invited (no video or film). The show will be presented as an online presentation in the MSA Virtual Gallery, which will include the price and contact information of the artist. Additionally, a video version showing all works will be produced and remain available to view after the show closes.

Entry fees are $35 for three pieces ($30 for MSA members), with an additional $7 per piece up to a total of ten pieces. Entries must be submitted digitally via the CaFE application by December 2, 2023 before 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. Accepted artists will be notified by email by December 10, 2023. The exhibition runs from December 16, 2023 through February 16, 2024, with a virtual ZOOM reception on Friday, December 29 at 5 p.m. PST. The YouTube version will remain available after the show closes.

Juror Donna Seager will select artwork, with no more than 2 works by an artist included in the final selection. Awards include First Prize ($500), Second Prize ($300), Third Prize ($100), and non-monetary Honorable Mention awards at the juror's discretion. Artwork will be for sale at prices set by the artist, with 100% of sales going to the artist. Artists' email contact information will be posted with their artwork, though selected artists may opt to display their website link instead.
