FRESH ART 2020

A juried fine arts online exhibition presented by the Marin Society of Artists, open to all artists age 18 and over. The exhibition showcases artwork in a diverse range of mediums, subjects, and styles including painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, art of the book, fiber art, ceramics, and all types of fine art crafts. Video, film, and installations are not accepted.

Artists may submit up to ten original works not previously shown in a Marin Society of Artists juried exhibition. Entry fee is $35 for three pieces, with an additional $7 per piece up to ten total pieces. Digital images must be submitted via CaFE by October 16, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time Zone. Images must be JPG or JPEG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, and under 5 MB. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email on October 29, 2020, with an online list of accepted artwork posted on the MSA website.

The exhibition runs from November 7, 2020 through January 16, 2021. A virtual Zoom reception will be held on Sunday, November 15 at 5 p.m. PST. The juror is Jen Tough, owner and director of Jen Tough Gallery. Awards include First Prize ($500), Second Prize ($300), and Third Prize ($100), with non-monetary Honorable Mention awards at the juror's discretion. No more than two works by any one artist will be included in the final selection. Artists retain 100% of sales with no commission to MSA.
