About This Call

Freestyles is a juried virtual art exhibition with an open theme concept. The show accepts abstract, traditional, and all styles of artwork in all mediums except video. Artists are encouraged to think creatively and experiment with new techniques or approaches.

The entry fee is $20 per image with a limit of 4 images per artist. Digital images must be cropped to artwork edges, with the longest side at least 1200 pixels (1500-2500 pixels recommended) and file size not exceeding 5.0 MB in JPEG format. Entries must be original work created by the artist within 3 years of the show date and cannot have been previously accepted into any FCAL judged show. The virtual gallery displays digital images only; physical artwork remains with the artist. Monetary awards are given for Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place.

The Flagler County Art League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1978, based in Palm Coast, Florida. Registration deadline is June 6, 2021. Acceptance notices will be communicated by June 11, 2021, and award winners will be notified by June 26, 2021. The show runs from June 26 through August 31, 2021.
