Frederick Festival of the Arts with Craft Marketplace 32nd Annual

The Frederick Festival of the Arts with Craft Marketplace will be held at Carroll Creek Park, an urban park in the heart of historic downtown Frederick, less than an hour from Baltimore and Washington DC. Carroll Creek Park offers a beautiful view, specialty shops, outdoor dining, distilleries and breweries. The festival features two sections: Fine Art set up in Carroll Creek Park, and the Crafters Marketplace set up on Carroll Street. Crafters should choose "Craft Marketplace on street" as their category when applying.

This competitive show is limited to the number of exhibitors accepted by a jury of highly qualified, talented, experienced artists. The jury meets weekly and applications are juried in order of date received. Early application is recommended as categories may close once maximum allotment is reached. Show hours are Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm with set-up on Friday. Spaces are 10x10 (limited 10x20 available with approved double booth image). Public admission is free with parking available near the show site.

Application requirements include 3 images of work, 1 image of 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, biography or website, and a $35 non-refundable jury fee. Fine Art Section booth fee is $565.00, Craft Section booth fee is $450.00. Artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created by the approved individual artist. Accepted mediums include clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin.
