Fraser Mountain Mural Festival 2026

The Fraser Mountain Mural Festival is presented by the Town of Fraser and the Fraser Public Arts Committee (Fraser PAC). Taking place August 7-9, 2026, artists will compete for awards and recognition by producing their best work on 8ft x 8ft primed panels. Mural locations are scattered throughout downtown businesses and open spaces. Each accepted artist will receive a $600 stipend to help with expenses. The festival is a platform for local, Front Range, and national artists to compete for cash prizes while supporting Fraser Valley Arts in generating creative energy and raising awareness for the mission to build The Fraser Center for Creative Arts.

Accomplished muralists must be willing to work outside in variable mountain weather, interact with visitors, and attend the Saturday night awards event. Applicants should submit images of past work and a tentative design for the mural. Instagram and website links are appreciated. Artist statements and history are welcomed but not required.

Schedule: Friday, August 7th: 9:00am-7pm check-in and artists begin painting. Saturday, August 8th: 9:00am-7pm painting continues. Sunday, August 9th: 3pm People's Choice Awards closes and Awards Ceremony begins. 5:00pm Online auction closes. Entry fee: $35.00. Jury dates: 5/1/26 - 5/8/26.
