Fourth LaGrange Southeast Regional

The Fourth LaGrange Southeast Regional is a juried exhibition open to artists in the southeast over 18 years of age from the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. All work must be original and completed within the last two years. The competition accepts submissions in the following categories: Drawings, Paintings, Prints, Sculpture, Photography, Ceramics, and Mixed Media. Artists may submit 1-4 images with an entry fee of $40.

Paintings, Prints, and Drawings must be framed or have museum finished edges, ready for hanging with wire in place. Works on paper must be matted with white or off-white mats under plastic glazing, not glass. Maximum framed size may not exceed 84 inches in either height or width. Ceramics, Sculpture, Decorative Arts, and Mixed Media should not exceed six feet in any direction or weigh more than 400 pounds. Artwork requiring installation must be delivered and installed by the artist and disassembled and picked up by May 3, 2022.

Accepted artists will be notified by email by January 20, 2022. Work must be delivered between January 19 and February 4, 2022. The exhibitions will be held at two venues: LaGrange Art Museum (112 Lafayette Parkway, LaGrange GA 30240) and Lamar Dodd Art Center at LaGrange College (310 Panther Way, LaGrange GA 30240). The award ceremony and gala receptions are scheduled for February 19, 2022, with exhibitions running through April 16, 2022. Purchase Awards will be made, with purchased works added to the permanent collections of the sponsors. Merit Awards will also be presented to a limited number of works.
