Fourth Annual i-Phonography Now Competition

The Plymouth Center for the Arts announces the Fourth Annual International i-Phonography Now Competition, celebrating the unique position that mobile devices play in the production of creative images. Any image taken with a mobile device, cell phone, tablet, or iPad is eligible. Photographers of all ages are invited to submit their favorite images for judging in this distinctive photography exhibition.

This boutique show will showcase the best 50 images submitted. Images will be uploaded between August 20, 2017 through October 1, 2017. Accepted images and prize winners will be announced online on November 1st, with the online show going live on November 9th. The show will be displayed online for almost eight weeks from November 5th through mid-January. All 50 images will be highlighted in the third issue of the "Literate Image" magazine, with a limited edition of 50 numbered, dated, and signed copies printed.

Five prizes will be awarded: First Place ($100), Second Place ($75), and Third Place ($50), plus two Honorable Mentions. All five awardees will receive ribbons and certificates. The five winning images will be printed, matted, and framed at PCA's expense and highlighted at the Art Center's Winter/Holiday show. Awardees will be invited to the reception to receive their awards. Entry fees are $10 per image, with a maximum of 15 entries per individual. Membership is not required.
