FOTOGRAFÍA 2022 | International Photo Exhibition

FOTOGRAFÍA 2022 is an exploration of contemporary photography. The exhibition invites photographers to submit work that demonstrates technical application, originality, and concept. Finalists will be invited to show their work in an exhibition at PRPG.mx in Mexico City. Selected artists will be featured in a book published by Dab Art Co., a full-color folio that will be added to the permanent catalog in the LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) Balch Art Research Library. A selection of artists will be chosen to participate in PRPG.mx's Visiting Artists program, featuring interviews about the selected artist's process and their works in the exhibition. A panel discussion will also be held with the four distinguished jurors discussing highlights and exhibition selections.

Entries must include a minimum of 5 images and a maximum of 20 images. The entry fee is $45.00, with an additional $5.00 media fee per additional image set. PRPG.mx will print and frame accepted artists' work as part of the paid application, eliminating shipping costs to Mexico. If accepted, artists will receive notification with instructions on how to submit image files and important deadlines. The exhibition is open to international photographers. Jurors will select a few exhibitors to receive a complimentary copy of the exhibition publication.

The exhibition is curated by Micheal Swank and judged by four distinguished jurors: Oona Nelson, Bogdan Mihai, Luis Flores Reyes, and Stef Allespach.
