fotofoto gallery 13th National Photography Competition

The fotofoto gallery 13th National Photography Competition is open to all US residents 18 years of age or older, excluding fotofoto gallery artists. Any photographic medium including digital and alternative processes will be accepted. The maximum height or width of framed work cannot exceed 24 inches. Free-standing pieces cannot be accepted.

Approximately 30 photographs will be chosen for the exhibition, which will be held January 24th through March 3rd, 2018. A reception will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018, 5-7PM at fotofoto gallery, 14 West Carver St., Huntington, NY 11743. To ensure the cohesiveness of the exhibition, work should be framed in simple black or white frames with neutral museum quality mats. Shipping information will be provided to selected artists upon completion of the jury process.

Juror Ann M. Jastrab will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners with cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200 respectively. Entry fee is $40 for 5 images, with an additional $5 per image for images 6-15 (maximum 15 images). A minimum of 5 images must be submitted. All entries must be submitted via the CaFE system. Submission deadline is December 5, 2017, midnight (standard mountain time). Notifications will be sent December 15, 2017, with framed photographs due by January 12, 2018.
