FotoFoto Gallery 12th National Photography Competition

FotoFoto Gallery is accepting entries for its 12th National Photography Competition. The competition is open to all US residents 18 years of age or older, excluding members of fotofoto gallery. Any photographic medium including digital and alternative processes will be accepted. The maximum height or width of framed work cannot exceed 24 inches. Free-standing pieces cannot be accepted.

Approximately 30 photographs will be chosen for a month-long exhibition from November 30th through January 7th, 2016. Juror Stephen Mayes will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners with cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200 respectively. A reception will be held December 3rd, 2016 from 5-7 PM at fotofoto gallery, 14 West Carver St., Huntington, NY 11743. To ensure the cohesiveness of the exhibition, work should be framed in a simple black or dark color with neutral museum quality mats.

Submissions must be made via the CaFE system. A minimum of 5 images and a maximum of 15 images are required. The entry fee is $40 for 5 images, with an additional $5 per image for images 6-15. Submissions deadline is October 24th, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notifications will be sent November 1st, and framed photographs must be received by November 23rd.
