FotoFest 2026 Juried Exhibition

FotoFest 2026 is a juried photography exhibition at The Art League of Baytown with the theme "A Sense of Place." Competition entry opens August 25, 2025 and closes November 12, 2025 at midnight. Photographers will be notified of acceptance or declination by November 30, 2025. The exhibition runs March 12 through May 16, 2026.

All accepted photographs must be delivered to ALB by February 27, 2026. The maximum physical dimension for framed images is 36" on the longest side. Gallery wraps are not acceptable. All photographs must be framed and ready to hang with wire hangers (sawtooth hangers will not be accepted). Photographers are encouraged to use white or off-white mats and black frames. Plexiglass is required for shipped work; glass is acceptable only for hand-delivered work. Do not ship work with packing peanuts—use reusable, good quality packing materials. Delivery and return of images, including insurance, is the photographer's responsibility. If photographs are shipped, a prepaid return shipping label must be provided. Work not retrieved by June 20, 2026 becomes the property of ALB.

All images must be for sale. The Art League of Baytown receives 30% commission on all sales. No nudes are permitted. By submission, accepted artists grant ALB the right to use their images for promotion, exhibition display on ALB's website, and social media, with artist credit provided. Artists retain all copyrights to their images. ALB expects all delivered work to be printed and framed at a professional level and reserves the right to decide what presentation is appropriate for the exhibit.
