Fort Works Art Fourth Annual Betsy Price High School Art Competition

The Betsy Price Citywide High School Art Competition 2018 is open to all high school students in Fort Worth, TX and surrounding areas within a 20 mile radius. Works must be 2-D or 3-D, original, and completed within the last year. All works must be available through the entire run of the show and cannot be sold or shown elsewhere during the exhibition timeframe. Two-dimensional works cannot exceed 60" in height or width including frame. Three-dimensional works cannot exceed 24" in height or width.

Entrants may submit up to three digital images via CaFÉ with no entry fee. Each work must be represented by only one image. The exhibition runs May 9 – May 26, 2018, with an award ceremony on May 12, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Juror Andrew Walker, Director of The Amon Carter Museum of American Art, will select award winners: 1st place - $500 (also exhibited in Fort Worth City Hall for 1 year), 2nd place - $300, 3rd place - $100. Top selections will be featured in a 2-week exhibition at Fort Works Art. Juror selections will be announced via email and the CaFÉ website no later than April 24, 2018.
