Fort Collins Sculpture in the Square 2025

Old Town Square is nestled amongst historic buildings in the heart of Fort Collins, Colorado and is home to weekly concerts in the summer and year-round festivals, shopping, and dining. The goal is to expose the citizens of Fort Collins to quality art and artists, compensate artists well, and help promote their talents.

Six sculptures will be chosen for a year-long outdoor exhibit installed on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Each selected artist will receive a $1,500 honorarium. All artists and a guest are invited to join for lunch on installation day. A People's Choice award of $1,000 will be awarded at the end of September 2025. If artwork is sold while on loan, the organization will retain a 10% commission.

The call accepts highly durable and resilient sculptures of any media that are at least 4 feet tall from artists nationwide. Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces. Submit 2 images per sculpture (maximum 6 images total). Each sculpture must have a metal plate adhered to its base that can fit on a 2' x 2' or 3' x 3' plinth. Installation on April 26, 2025 requires the artist or artist representative to be present. Entry deadline is January 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Jurying begins February 5, 2025, and artists will be notified of acceptance by February 10, 2025.
