A juried Northern California competition and exhibition open to artists who reference and interpret the human form as subject. The figure is primary to evolving understandings of human identities such as gender, sexuality, race, and ethnicity.

Accepted mediums include painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, ceramic, and photography. The juror is Kim Frohsin, a Bay Area figurative artist known for her depictions of figures, primarily female, in intimate-scale paintings informed by collaborative drawing sessions with live models.

Awards include $1,500 for best three-dimensional work, $1,500 for best two-dimensional work, and two additional awards of $1,000 each. Gallery commission is 50%, and all work must be for sale. Entry fee is $45 for 1-3 submissions, with a $10 media fee per entry over the minimum. Submission deadline is November 6th, 2024. Notification of acceptance is November 9th, 2024. Artwork delivery is November 10th-24th, 2024. Exhibition dates are December 7th, 2024 - January 26th, 2025, with opening reception on December 7th, 2024, 4-6pm.
