For the Love of Art 2025 Exhibition

The ArtCentre of Plano invites Texas artists to submit work for For the Love of Art 2025, a juried exhibition held during a month-long celebration of the arts. This annual event is both a fundraiser and community-wide tribute to creativity, culture, and connection. Whether emerging or established, artists have the opportunity to showcase work in a meaningful venue with recognition and cash prizes.

The 2025 juror is Kristin Rivas, Director of Samuel Lynne Galleries with locations across Dallas, Houston, and Chicago, and co-founder of Hollman Miller Gallery in Whitefish, Montana. She holds a bachelor's degree in Art History from Texas Woman's University and has published research on Modern and Contemporary Indian Art.

All visual art mediums are accepted. Work must be original and created by the submitting artist. Size limits: 2D work maximum 24" x 36"; 3D work maximum 24" x 24" x 24". Submit 1-3 JPEG images (one image per artwork). Entry fee: $10 for the first image, $10 for each additional image (maximum $30 total). Jury dates: 8/16/25 - 9/15/25. Notification of acceptance: September 16, 2025. Artwork delivery: Monday, October 20. Exhibition runs through November with multiple events including a Gala (October 25), Cars event (November 1), VIP Opening Reception (November 6), and Community Opening Reception (November 8). Pick up party and load out: November 22.

Awards: Best in Show $250, Peoples Choice Award $250. All artwork sales are processed through the ArtCentre with a 50/50 split; proceeds distributed by December 15, 2025. Accepted artwork must be ready for display upon delivery—2D work must be wired with D-rings and proper picture hanging wire; 3D work must be stable for pedestal or floor display. The ArtCentre reserves the right to decline improperly prepared work, damaged work, or work that differs significantly from the submitted image.
