About This Call
The Worcester Center for Crafts invites submissions for "Pour Your Heart Out," a juried pouring vessel exhibition held in the gallery store. All pouring vessels of varying types made by artists living or working in North America are eligible. Pieces must be no larger than 11 inches wide (including handles and spouts) and no taller than 15 inches.
Entry fee is $30. Submissions should include 1-9 high quality images of the whole piece and important details for jurying. If accepted, pieces must be shipped or hand-delivered to the Worcester Center for Crafts by March 17th, 2017. All items must be accompanied by a signed Gallery Store Consignment Contract and either a prepaid return shipping label or a signed statement of intent to pick up unsold pieces by June 17th. The gallery reserves the right to exclude pieces that arrive broken or do not reflect the submitted images.
The exhibition runs April 4 - June 1, 2017. All accepted pieces are entered into gallery store inventory under consignment, with the store receiving 50% of profits. Customers may purchase and take items home at the time of sale. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, announced on the Craft Center website. Gallery Store hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm.
