For Pastels Only

This is a call for pastel paintings for the PPSCC FPO exhibition. Artworks must be at least 80% soft pastels (no oil pastels), created within the last three years, and not previously shown in any PPSCC FPO exhibition. Paintings must not have won one of the top 4 awards in any other national or international juried pastel society show as of the entry deadline, and cannot have been entered into an online show running concurrently with FPO or previously shown at the Cultural Center. Artworks must not exceed 48 inches in any direction (framed size), be framed with a clean mat if used, and cannot use saw-tooth hangers. Artists may submit up to 5 paintings.

Entry fees are $35 for the first 3 paintings and $10 for each additional painting for PPSCC members; non-members pay $45 for the first 3 paintings and $10 for each additional painting. Submissions must be original, high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background, and oriented correctly. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline of April 29, 2024. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline, and incomplete entries will be disqualified.
