Foothills Art Center - Holiday Art Market (HART) 2016

The 2016 Annual Holiday Art Market (HART) at Foothills Art Center is the premier venue for fine art and craft handmade in Colorado. This is the 43rd HART, running from November 11 – December 31, 2016. Admission is free to the public. The Market attracts thousands of shoppers who have spent in excess of $100,000. Artwork by selected artists is displayed cohesively in a festive, holiday setting.

Foothills Art Center seeks fine art and fine craft in all media suitable for holiday shopping: oil, acrylic, water media, pastel, pencil, paper, printmaking, photography, digital arts, mixed-media, ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber, metal, wood, edibles, and holiday-themed items. All work must be original and handmade by the artist who must live in Colorado. Commercially manufactured components, commercial patterns, and molds will not be accepted. Artists are juried on their body of work and artwork is shown by consignment only. Historically, items priced between $3.00 and $650.00 have sold best (fine art up to $1,000.00). All proceeds benefit local Colorado artists and Foothills Art Center programming.

Entry fee is $30.00. Submit 5-10 images via CaFE online only. Notifications will be sent via email by August 9, 2016. Accepted artists' contracts are due by August 23, 2016. Artwork must be hand-delivered October 25-29, 2016, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm by appointment only. FAC retains a 50% commission on sales (40% for artists who volunteer 28 hours over the 7-week period). Unsold artwork may be picked up January 3-7, 2017 by appointment only. Artist commission checks will be mailed February 1, 2017.
