Food Canvas - 2025

Food Canvas - 2025 is a juried exhibition, promotion, and sales opportunity inviting artists to explore the world of food through their art. The competition welcomes all abstract and representational art in any medium, including painting, drawing, photography, digital art, sculpture, and mixed media. Artists can interpret the theme in numerous ways, such as the art of presentation, cultural cuisines, food memories, farm to table, necessary foods, varieties of food, abstract edibles, and food and emotion.

Submission is free of charge. If selected, artists pay a USD 35 selection fee. Artists can submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks accepted per artist. Artworks must be original works created by the entrant without instructor supervision, and artists must hold all rights for presenting and publishing the work internationally. There is no size limit or limit on artwork creation year, though artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred.

Selected artworks will be showcased in an online group exhibition from February 8 to April 8, 2025. Benefits for selected artists include promotion on the Exhibizone platform and ARTSY (a global art collector community), publication in an online exhibition catalogue, lifetime exhibition links and artist pages, promotional badges and digital poster, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition promotion including press releases and social media presentation, analytics reports, potential publication in magazines and books, a free artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, and a digital certificate.
