About This Call
The 53rd Annual FOCUS SHOW 2024 Summer Edition is a youth art exhibition held at Bowling Green State University's Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery from May 29 through July 31, 2024. Students may submit original artwork from February 12 through April 12, 2024. The entry deadline is April 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Accepted pieces will be announced by April 12, with notification sent to teachers' emails by April 15, 2024.
The entry fee is $2 per piece. Students may submit between 1 and 20 images. Artwork must be original and cannot use copyright materials from other sources. All submitted artwork must be ready to hang with wire only—sawtooth hangers are not acceptable. Artwork not ready to hang is not guaranteed to be exhibited. Artwork tags must be attached to the front bottom right-hand corner and the back of each piece.
Show drop-off is scheduled for May 13-20, 2024 at the Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery. An awards ceremony will be held on May 29, 2024. Take down is scheduled for August 19, 2024 or as announced. BGSU and assisting personnel cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, or breakage of submitted artwork. For questions or alternative drop-off arrangements, contact [email protected].
