About This Call
North River Arts Society is accepting submissions for an exhibition of original artwork in all forms. Artists may submit up to 5 pieces for $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry. Membership is not required.
All artwork must be originally created by the artist and not derived from published works, photographs, or other artists' work. Work previously exhibited in North River Arts exhibitions is not eligible. Artwork does not need to be for sale. Two-dimensional work must be framed or gallery wrapped with wired hanging systems (no sawtooth hangers). Sculptors must provide their own pedestals. There are no size restrictions, though artists with very large or heavy pieces should contact the organization before submitting.
Submissions must be high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Awards include Best in Show ($250 plus ribbon), Second Place ($100 Gift Card to NRAS plus ribbon), Third Place (ribbon), and five Honorable Mentions (ribbon). The entry deadline is March 5, 2024. For questions, contact Julia Driscoll at [email protected].
