About This Call

FLUID ECOLOGIES is an international open call and exhibition exploring ecologies across a broad spectrum and the ways in which such systems respond, change, adapt, and evolve. The project invites artists to consider the concept of an 'ecology' as a metaphor and framework for how one lives, interacts, and relates—an opportunity to visualize and respond to the systems that sustain and impact, both on a personal level and in the world writ large. The ways in which art itself acts as a living ecosystem connecting humans, materials, institutions, and other living and non-living entities may also be addressed.

Submissions are open to international artists working in all visual media, including video. Eligible categories include Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Film/Video/New Media, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture. The entry fee is $38.00, with a submission deadline of February 8, 2026.

The Grand Prize Winner receives a Capsule Solo in Exhibition. Finalists (5-7 artists) and See|Me Member Prize winners receive inclusion in a Group Exhibition. All winners are invited to join the See|Me Digital Gallery, included in the Artsy FLUID ECOLOGIES Collection, and receive custom social media promotion.
